Not powering up

It could be the fuse in your power plug box. My fuse blew in mine when I went to Switzerland I just bought a cheap one on ebay for around 9 bucks at the time that'll work over seas as well. If you have a friend with a wii try their power cord on yours.

We just got our we, we plugged it in then the power in the whole house went out and the wii won't turn back on - HELP

My guess would be that the fuse in the plug has blown. Try replacing the fuse and try plugging the power supply back into the mains power socket but do not connect it to the Wii. If the power goes again and the fuse blows then the power supply is faulty. If the power in the house stays on then try plugging the power connector into the Wii and see if it works.

The wii console its not turning on !!

Make sure the batteries are not dead in the controllers for turning it on.
Next, check all plugs on the console to make sure theyre pluged it all the way if any. Try it again, if it still doesnt work, check to see if your warranty expired yet. Most likely it hasnt. Next call nintendo for support and see if you may have to ship it in. Whatever is wrong with it right now, is nothing that cant be fixed or replaced.
You can also try using a different power adapter to see if thats the problem. If its not turning on, or no lights are, obviously not enough power is getting to the WII. Sometimes the fuse in the power adapters plug in can blow, check that and replace it if needed.

Plugged US purchased Wii into Europe outlet with an adapter and n

You would need an adapter that not only runs at 120 or 240 volts, but also one that OUTPUTS 120v. The Wii may have some kind of protection in it if you're lucky (most people don't hook up US Wii's to 240v). But if not, you've killed your Wii. Check the adapter, if it has a fuse that's removable you should see a (usually) circular cap kind of thing on the brick you can unscrew and pull the fuse out.
As for what you would need to purchase, it would be something like this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Step-down-voltage-converter-240V/dp/B000L99ZJ2 would work perfectly. The Wii only draws at maximum 30watts and this unit does 100. Your TV on the other hand would need a higher wattage unit.

Wii power supply

To reset the AC adapter you need to unplug it from the wall outlet and the Wii console and wait at least two minutes. Plug it back in and it should come on. If you have it plugged in a surge protector with other appliances, the other appliances may be interrupting the adapter, causing the power to go off.
