I will assume the line goes from top to bottom and is straight.
If so bad news I am affraid. It is the driver tabs that go from the panel to the physical panel controller board and is not making correct contact.
This will normally continue to get worse until you lose entire bands of the screen.

Sorry for the nad news.

Someone would have to open the unit and see if fuse bad or even puffed up caps in the power supply for it.

I have a Dell computer with a flat screen now all of a sudden there are fine pink verticle lines along the right side of the screen. There is also a group of fine pink verticle lines about 1.5 inches wide...

Try the following steps:
  1. On the monitor, press Menu, and select Factory Reset.
  2. If the monitor has more than one type of connection available such as VGA, DVI, or HDMI, try a different type of connection.
  3. Connect the monitor to another computer. If the line appears when the monitor is connected to the second computer, the monitor might be damaged or defective.Otherwise, the video card and driver is causing the problem from the computer.let me know if this resolves ur issue.. if not then we need some other steps.. regards, guru

Blue verticle line is displayin

The blue line is most likely the result of your monitor's screen going bad. One thing you can try is disconnecting and re-connecting your video cables to make sure it's tight and has a good connection. This probably won't help, but it's worth a try. You may also want to connect the monitor to another computer to see if the blue line stays, or goes. If the blue line stays with another computer connected, the problem is inside the monitor. If the line goes away, you should replace/repair your computer's video card and/or cable. Otherwise, you need to replace/repair your LG monitor.

Verticle line down the middle of lcd monitor.

This is a common problem with LCD screens. It is pixel line damage and the screen is permanently damaged and is not repairable. It will probably get worse. The only answer is to replace it

If the lines are running top to bottom and are perfectly straight then your panel is failing.
The only repair is to have it replaced. It can be sent off and have the driver tabs repaired, but the sheer cost of that operation is far more expensive then a new monitor.
The next best option is to look for another monitor on a certain online auction site with a failed power supply and salvage the panel from that.
Even buying just a panel (new) will be more expensive or as expensive as a replacment monitor.

Sorry, it's just the way technology moves.
If it has any warranty left, then return it under that warranty. Most LCD's have a 3 year warranty, so it is worth checking up on. Look for the "Date of manufacture" on the sticker on the back of the monitor.

Verticle blue lines, left side

Your Display cable (inside your monitor) needs to be replaced.

I would look on ebay to try and find the part and then take it to a local tech to replace it for you as I would not recommend anyone take apart a monitor (LCD OR CRT) if you had never done so before.

OR, Buy a new one.

Secondary monitor

When you first switch on Does it show Benq?If not the inverter circuit has failed. If you are technically able you can try resoldering transistors on inverter board. If your display is black all of the time transistors could have failed as also related fuse etc.
And yes please check with BenQ Normally these have a 3 year warranty.

Benq v772 CRT show only Blue and Green color

It has to be either a cable or an IC issue. Get your cable checked first (VGA cable)
