I am trying to program the RCA ColorTrak Plus TV to my satellite receiver and I get nothing but snow

You will need to get a "regular" Universal remote and program it for that particular model of TV. You will need to access the on screen setup menu for the TV and then have it scan the channels. Make sure your DTV box is on and connected with the coaxial cable. If the "TV Input" button on your DTV remote works and you can get it onto the Video Channel, You can connect your DTV receiver with the RCA Cables (Red, White and Yellow) and get your picture that way. If you access the on screen menu, you will need to scan for Analog and Digital channels as the receiver transmits in Analog. hope this helps.

RCA 32' colortrak plus connectiuns

If you are connecting the cable to the VCR, and using a cable TV type wire (CATV wire) from the VCR to the TV, this is not the same as an A/V connection.

The VCR should have a built in modulator. In some areas the VCR uses channel 3 or 4. In other areas they are using channel 5 or 6. You will have to refer to the user manual for the VCR to know the channel that is being used for the VCR. On some, it is written at the CATV output connector.

Turn on the VCR, and set the TV to the proper channel for the VCR. Select in the VCR's options to put its output to the CATV, or its channel output. Refer to the book on the VCR for details.
