Question about Daewoo Televison & Video
I want to finalise my DVD+R disc in my Daewoo DF4501P DVD Recorder+VCR. I have followed the instructions that came with the machine I.e.
1) Press SETUP
2) While "Disc oper" is selected press ENTER to go to Disc Op page
3) Use up and down buttons to select "Finalise" menu.
This is where the problem occurs the up and down buttons do not move the selection up only down to the exit selection.
Can anybody help

You will need to finalize them with the dvd recorder, it may also refer to it as closing the disk, it may be a button on the remote but more than likely it will be an option in a menu.....I can't seem to find a manual for it right now, If you have one you may want to read through it , thats how I found out how to finalize dvds with my philips. I'll try looking for a manual again later but right now I have to go to work so I'll get back to you on this.

SOURCE: how to finalise dvd recording
Press the menu button on your remote - go to finalize disc - follow instructions. Note that VR discs can be played with many if not most DVD-players without finalizing. In fact I have had problems finalizing and unfinalizing discs back and forth. If the disc manager displays only unfinalize disc, the disc is already finalized.
