Problem for Praktica SlimPix Digital Camera

Card full

card full. Praktica DC9001. Memory card downloaded to computer and pictures now on computer. Memory card wiped clean. Drivers installed on memory card. When putting memory card into camera. It does not click into place. When camera turned on, the message "card full" is displaced. I am assuming there is a problem with the camera not the card.

Any help gratefully received
