Question about Intuit QuickBooks: Pro 2005 for PC
I acidentily updated my program and now I have to log off the company in order to properly close the program. I use to be able to just close it with the [X] at the top right corner of the window. I would like to return to being able to do that so other employees can still access the program.
If I remember correctly you have the option to share quickbooks or to use it exclusively....(and it was part of the setup). Fixing that (should be some reference to it in the help menu) cures one problem. Not being able to close it is a different problem. I can't remember exactly but I do know there was a decision somewhere in the set up that allowed you to share or not share the database. If others are signed on perhaps that is why you can't sign off. Just some thought to hopefully point you in the right direction.
