Hi , Has your MB Sufferd any power Surges , Power Trips , or Shorting with Case of some sort? if so then your Motherboard is Burnt out , Try see if you can see any burnt marks , or Burst Capacitors .As soon as your CPU Fan runs , but your MB isnt running , you know its getting power ..So your motherboard is Burnt out, ASUS boards are very commonly , Burning out.I recently Sent mine back to ASUS because it burnt out..Also if you are going to take it in , make sure you have a proper qaulified Techie Checking it , otherwise they report that your CPU and PSU is also burnt out , and try get you to buy new from them...Becareful of that , its very common where im from.

What mobo can replace ASUS P5PE-VM

the socket of you processor is lga775, the graphics port is agp and it support DDR I , so you need to buy a motherboard that has the exact specifications.
my advice is to continue with asus. you could buy an Asus P5P800/ P5S800 that is compatible with your previous motherboard. there are also some good models from asrock and they may be cheaper than asus.
the problem with this type of motherboard is that they are expensive because that are not in use.

I need ASUS mthrbd driver with chipset SIS 961

Hi

You can download all asus drivers from
http://support.asus.com/

What you need to find from the motherboard is model and make.

Possibly reads between the expansion slots (PCI - etc) and memory and cpu area.

for example P5PE-VM with that model you should be able to find everything from there.

let me know how it goes and if you need anything else or more assistance with this.

thanks and good luck,
Ekse
