error code F6-10 comes up on screen occaisionally during the day. We turn the copier off and on and the code goes away.
What does this code mean?

-   I went to print and error code F6-10 showed up on the sharp screen.  I can no longer print, copy or fax anything from my Sharp AR-M237.  I have tried turning the machine on and off without success.   -   meagunn

THe battery on your fax board is below 2.90 volts you can replace the battery.

The problem comes from a defective fax board.
Contact sharp for the resolution please.

This is not "from a defective fax board"
98% of the time it is the Battery on the Fax Board..
Usually turning off your machine will make this go away,
Sometimes preventing your machine from going into Sleep Mode also helps.

The Fax Battery is much like the CMOS battery in a computer.
A large round thin battery, (much like a watch battery)
To replace this, the fax board has to be removed, The battery is Soldered to the Board, you have to unsolder the battery, then solder the new battery to the fax board, then reinstall fax board, then set jumpers on fax board. Turn machine on, do some settings, turn machine off, remove jumper from fax board. Then restart, hopefully you will not have to reset the county code.

Unless your experienced with this, do yourself a favor and call a tech..
