Problem for Sony Handycam DCR-HC30 Mini DV Digital Camcorder

Eject Cassette warning and self-diagnosis code C:31:23

When in Camera-Tape or Play/Edit modes, the Eject Cassette warning icon flashes, the self-diagnosis code C:31:23 is displayed, and the message "Re-insert cassette" appears. I do not think it is a condensation problem since that is a different code. The camera works fine when recording to the memory stick in Camera-Memory mode.
