Max-Fridge power adapter needs replacement

I have a Max-Fridge for which my power supply fried, but don't know where I can get a replacement or if I can buy a generic one somewhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    same problem

Same problem - 12 volts. Tried plugging in another outlet. Made sure outlet worked by plugging in other power-related objects. When the plug to the Max-Fridge initially stopped working, I tried another plug on the power strip. The Max-Fridge display flickered as if it wanted to turn on and then went completely dead.

I have the same problem right after buying it.It seems to be very common with this cheap off-shore Max Fridge product. Has anyone found a replacement yet?

I loaned my Max-Fridge to our son and I got the unit back without either of the power cords. Do you have them for sale?

First check it or have the power supply check out with a meter. If you have 0 volts or it is dead then replace it. The main thing is the polarity of the tip, positive tip or negative tip IT MUST BE THE SAME or you will FRY YOUR TV. Good Luck.

On the 15-12-2014 i bought a lloytron 5 in 1 wireless headphone, the manual says i need a 4.5V DC adapter for mains but nowhere does it say the amount of (amps) needed before i buy one, since there are so...

I would think anything over 300 mA would be ok. But I would go for something around 1 to 2 amps.
As long as the voltage is 4.5 it doesn't matter if the current is 10 Amps or a 100 Amps. They will only draw as much current as they need. The maximum working current is only 30MA.

Max consumption current 30MA
Power Supply 2 x AAA batteries

Frequency 85
Transmitting Distance 10M
Complete Voltage 3V
Max working current 7.5mA
System mode RF
Power Supply 2 x AAA batteries or 4.5 DC not included

It is possible that your power supply fried but everything else is still ok. Something like this could happen during a lightning storm. If you know someone with a wii, try to use their ac adapter (with a 120V adapter). If this works, then you just need a new power supply which is much cheaper.

I bought an Epson scanner from America with a power supply for 100v-120v can I still use this in Australia which has 240v. Regards ****

see the power rating on the power pack adapter. Unless otherwise stated,
most come with an international standard of 220v. I bet you can find an adapter with the right capacity that fits your scanner if that doesn't work.
Hope this helps

No picture.

Your set may be fried, or at least the power supply or fuse(s). If you feel like you could work on it, open up the power supply (if it's outside of the TV) or open the set itself (if it's an internal power supply). Look for the fuse(s) (the little glass tubes) and pull them out and check them one at a time (in case they're different values and you forget which one went where). If any of them have a broken filament (the little wire inside of them), especially if they have any black soot or brown-ish stuff in them, then the fuse is blown and needs to be replaced with an identical value fuse.
DO NOT REPLACE FUSES WITH DIFFERENT VALUE ONES. I can never stress that enough. On the metal band, it says the current it allows. Match it up with another fuse (it'll be the same size and everything) and bam, that could fix your problem.
If it's not a fuse, then perhaps the filter capacitors in the power supply are shot. If you don't know what they look like; they're cylinders that are usually placed right by where the cord comes into the supply. If any of them have a hole or any black or brown residue around the bottoms, then they're blown and need to be replaced with identical ones (or at least the same capacitance and max voltage). Be careful with capacitors. If they're put in the wrong way, are shorting out against anything else, or have a max voltage that's too low, they can blow immediately and sometimes violently. I've seen them blow out and have electricity arcing across them, frying everything around it.

Tottom direct power supply

No, it will fry the unit!!!

You need the cigarette lighter adapter to bring the voltage down to 5V. More than 5V will fry the One.

Water supply

Hi Don,

Cold water supply at Fridge location. Run 1/4" tubing and connectors to match the supply valve and solenoid valve on the Fridge. Should be just one tubing connection.
If you do not have a supply at your Fridge, you can shut off your main supply and tap into the cold water line and run you a supply over to the fridge. use 1/2" PVC pipe and fittings to route over to the fridge. Get a Threaded adapter to connect a shutoff Valve. This way you have a way to keep the main supply on and hook up the Tubing from the fridge to the supply.

Did he fry it?

It just had a bad current that went through it the player shouldn't fry, check the battery voltage see if its still got the original voltage if not it will be under its capacity. Rejuvenate the battery and use the right power supply this time. If its still under warranty take the player and its original charger back to where you got the player from and they might swap it out.
