Question about Panasonic KV S2026C Path-Through Scanner
Dark line is showing up on all scanned papers. Line is vertical about 1 inch from R side of paper
There is a User Shading Utility on the original product CD. Browse to the CD drive and open the folder named ShadingUtility. Run the program ShadingUtility.exe the password is GOSHADING (all caps, no spaces). Put a clean, white sheet of paper in the scanner (or glossy photo paper works really well), then click the Shading button.

There is most likely some dirt or white out over the scanner glass.
Open your scanner and look for the seal glass over the scaning components.
You will most likely fine something stuck to that glass.
You may have a bad segment in the scaner optics itself.
But more than 90 percent of the time its just something on the scan glass.

Panasonic used to have a software solution to this, but I can't find it now.
