Question about Canon i860 InkJet Photo Printer

Printing in black "fuzzy"

When printing in black the clarity of words and graphics has all of a sudden have become a bit fuzzy - faint additional lines here and there from the areas of print. I have tried the cleaning steps and actually cleaning the print cartridge area as well. I am only using canon ink and the ususal decent quality every day paper. Color seems to be OK.

Are you sure the text on the computer screen is in pure black color? Im thinking that maybe it is a Website link that is not fully black. Try this, highlight all the text and make sure the font color is set to black. In addition to that go into the printer settings and tell it to choose only Black and White printing.

Hope this helps
