Date my marlin 336 was made serial #U29999

Serial number "U" is 1961

The following table can be used to date the year of manufacture of a Marlin 336. It is also valid for determining most other Marlin firearm build dates from 1946 to the present.
Marlin year of manufacture maybe determined from the following table of letter/numeral prefixs to the serial number:

Date Prefix(s) 1946 C 1947 D 1948 E 1949 F 1950 G 1951 H 1952 J 1953 K 1954 L 1955 M Date Prefix(s) 1956 N 1957 P 1958 R 1959 S 1960 T 1961 U 1962 V 1963 W 1964 Y, Z 1965 AA Date Prefix(s) 1966 AB 1967 AC 1968 AD, 68 1969 69 1970 70 1971 71 1972 72

I need to restore my acer aspire one series model ZG5 to original settings but nothing that I am finding online is helping :( Pressing alt f10 does nothing and when i do get a restore window, the only...

Well, in actual fact, there is no 'magic button' to restore a computer to it's original state. What has to be done is a fresh install of the operating system, wiping out the current contents of the hard disk. Hopefully your system came with a restore cd though sometimes the manufacturer just puts the restore data on a partition of your hard drive, and you have to restore from there, using a procedure they've (hopefully) documented. If you don't have either cd or restore partition, then be very careful just wiping your disk as you may end up having to buy a new operating system distribution disk,(expensive) then you have the grief of finding all the drivers to load plus the motherboard chipset drivers, and they can be a real pain to try and find. WHAT YEAR IS THIS STOVE?

The date of manufacture is determined by the SERIAL NUMBER on the appliance, not the model number. The following link explains how to determine the manufacture date on Whirlpool appliances:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3576437-determining_the_age_of_your_whirlpool_ap

The second DIGIT in the serial number determines the YEAR it was manufactured. The first two NUMBERS following that digit represent the WEEK (52 weeks in a year) it was manufactured. You may need a calendar to count the weeks to get an idea of which month your appliance was manufactured.

If you have any questions, please post back and let me know. I hope this helps you.

What year is it manufactured

The date of manufacture is determined by the SERIAL NUMBER on the appliance. The following link explains how to determine the manufacture on a Maytag appliance:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3576445-determining_the_age_of_your_maytag_appli

The date of manufacture is determined by the last two letters in the serial number. The 1st letter represents the YEAR and the 2nd letter will represent the MONTH. If you have any questions, please post back with your SERIAL NUMBER and I will assist you. I hope you find this information helpful.

How do tell how old the unit is

You will need to look at the serial number of the unit. There may also be a date code on the unit itself. If there is not a date code, then the serial number will contain the year of manufacture. Its typically within the first 4 letters or numbers of the serial number. Look for any numbers that resemble a year that may suit the age of the unit. If you cannot determine age, gather the model/serial and call a local parts house and ask for the year of manufacture. They should have no problems attaining that information for you.

How can I tell the manufacture date on my electric spectra range?

The date of manufacture is determined by the SERIAL NUMBER on the appliance. The following link explains how this is determined on GE products:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3576454-determining_the_age_of_your_ge_appliance

The manufacture date is determined by the first two letters in the serial number. The first letter represents the MONTH of manufacture, while the second letter represents the YEAR.

The serial number and model number should be listed on a nameplate around the oven door opening, or lower drawer opening. Some manufacturers place the nameplate on the back of the control panel.

If you have any questions, please post back and let me know. I hope this helps you.
