How to Enable Cookies in Microsoft Internet Explorer

If you have forgotten or no longer have access to your login name and password, see the Lost Netflix Password or Login Information article.
If you are certain your username and password are correct, there may be an issue with the cookies (website information) stored by your browser. Try the steps below to sign in to Netflix.

1. Enable cookies in your web browser.
   Netflix requires cookies to run.
   • Enable Browser Cookies on your Windows PC
   • Enable Browser Cookies on your Mac
   • If cookies are enabled and you still can't sign in, go to step 2.
2. Clear the Netflix cookies from your browser by going to netflix.com/clearcookies
   • If you are still unable to sign in, go to step 3.
3. Upgrade your browser to the latest version, or sign in with a different web browser.
   Supported web browsers include Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari (Mac only), Chrome (PC only).
   • If you are using Internet Explorer, you may need to add Netflix as a trusted site.

Internet Explorer 6 for Windows

1. Within Internet Explorer, click the "Tools" menu and choose "Internet Options."
2. Click the tab labeled "Privacy."
3. Click the button labeled "Advanced."
4. Check the option labeled "Override automatic cookie handling." To enable cookies:
   Set "First-party Cookies" (and "Third-party Cookies, if you wish) to "Accept."To receive a prompt to accept or decline cookies on a site-by-site basis:Set "First-party Cookies" (and "Third-party Cookies, if you wish) to "Prompt."
5. Click "OK" to save changes and close the dialog box.

Firefox for Windows and Mac OS X

1. Open Options dialog box: WindowsWithin Firefox, click the "Tools" menu, then click "Options."Mac OS XClick the "Firefox" menu, then click "Preferences."
2. In the left-hand column, click the icon labeled "Privacy."
3. Click "Cookies," then click the option labeled "Allow sites to set cookies.
4. Click "OK" to save changes and close the dialog box.

Safari for Macintosh OS X

1. Within Safari, click the "Safari" menu and choose "Preferences."
2. Click the icon labeled "Security." To enable cookies:Set the option labeled "Accept Cookies" to "Always."
3. Click "OK" to save changes and close the dialog box.

Internet Explorer 5 for Windows

1. Within Internet Explorer, click the "Tools" menu and choose "Internet Options."
2. Click the tab labeled "Security."
3. Click the button labeled "Custom Level."
4. Scroll down to the section labeled "Cookies." To enable cookies:Set "Allow cookie that are stored on your computer" to "Enable."Set "Allow per-session cookies" to "Enable."To receive a prompt to accept or decline cookies on a site-by-site basis:Set "Allow cookie that are stored on your computer" to "Prompt."Set "Allow per-session cookies" to "Prompt."
5. Click "OK" to save changes and close the dialog box.

Internet Explorer 5 for Macintosh

1. Within Internet Explorer, click the "Edit" menu and choose "Preferences." (In OS X, click the "Explorer" menu and choose "Preferences.")
2. In the left-hand column, click "Cookies." It is is listed in the "Receiving Files" group.
3. Click the button labeled "Custom Level." To enable cookies:Set option labeled "When receiving cookies:" to "Never Ask."To receive a prompt to accept or decline cookies on a site-by-site basis:Set option labeled "When receiving cookies:" to "Ask for each site."
4. Click "OK" to save changes and close the dialog box.

Internet Explorer 4 for Windows

1. Within Internet Explorer, click the "View" menu and choose "Internet Options."
2. Click the tab labeled "Security."
3. Select "Custom" and click "Settings."
4. Scroll down to section labeled "Security." To enable cookies:Select "Always accept cookies."To receive a prompt to accept or decline cookies on a site-by-site basis:Select "Prompt before accepting cookies."
5. Click "OK" to save changes and close the dialog box.

Opera 7 for Windows or Macintosh

1. Within Opera, click the "File" menu and choose "Preferences."
2. In the left-hand column, select "Privacy."
3. Select the option labeled "Enable cookies."
4. Click "OK" to save changes and close the dialog box.

Netscape Navigator 6 and Higher for Windows and Macintosh

1. Within Netscape Navigator, click the "Edit" menu and choose "Preferences." (In OS X, click the "Netscape" menu and choose "Preferences.")
2. In the left-hand Category column, click "Cookies." It's listed in the "Privacy and Security" group. To enable cookies:Select "Accept all cookies" or "Accept only cookies that get sent back to the originating server." To receive a prompt to accept or decline cookies on a site-by-site basis:Check the option labeled "Warn me before storing a cookie" and select "Accept all cookies" or "Accept only cookies that get sent back to the originating server."
3. Click "OK" to save changes and close the dialog box.

To enable cookies in Internet Explorer.

1. Open Internet Explorer and find the button for TOOLS.
2. Click on Tools then Internet Options.
3. On the Internet Properties screen click on the Tab Privacy.
4. Click the button labeled Advanced.
5. Place a check mark in the box to Override Automatic Cookie Handling.
6. Both columns should be marked to Accept.
7. Click on OK.
8. Click OK on the next screen and your cookies will now be fully enabled.

Internet Explorer 8.0

1. Click on the "Tools" menu in Internet Explorer.

2. Click "Internet Options".
3. Change to the "Privacy" tab.
   
4. You now have two options depending on how much you want to restrict cookies: Automatic cookie handling
   1. Set the slider to "Medium".
      
   2. This should be enough to enable cookies on timeanddate.com, but it is recommended to add timeanddate.com to the Sites list. To do this, click "Sites".
   3. Enter "timeanddate.com" in the "Address of the website:" input.
      
   4. Click "Allow".
   5. Click "OK".
   6. Click "OK".
   Restrict to selective sites NOTE: using this method you will have to enable cookies for every site you need them on.
   
   1. Set the slider to "High".
      
   2. Click "Sites".
   3. Enter "timeanddate.com" in the "Address of the website:" input.
      
   4. Click "Allow".
   5. Click "OK".
   6. Click "OK".

Follow the steps below to enable the cookies needed for personalization of timeanddate.com:
Internet Explorer 7.0

1. Click on the Tools popup-menu in Internet Explorer.
   
2. Click on the Internet Options item in the menu - a new window opens.
3. Click on the Privacy tab near the top of the window.
   
4. Click on the Sites button - another window opens.
5. Enter timeanddate.com in the text field and then click Allow. timeanddate.com will appear in the "Managed websites" list below with a Setting of Allowed.
   
6. Save changes by clicking Ok in each window and go to one of the configuration pages again.

Internet Explorer 6.0

1. Click on the Tools-menu in Internet Explorer.
2. Click on the Internet Options item in the menu - a new window opens.
3. Click on the Privacy tab near the top of the window. (See image below)
   
4. Move the slider (See image) so that is on one of the levels below Medium High (including Medium, Low, Accept All Cookies.
5. Save changes by clicking Ok and go to one of the configuration pages again.

Internet Explorer 5.0/5.5

1. Click on the Tools-menu in Internet Explorer.
2. Click on the Internet Options item in the menu - a new window opens.
3. Click on the Security tab near the top of the window.
   
4. Click on the Custom Level... button near the bottom of the window.
5. Scroll down to Cookies in the new dialog, and set both "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer" and "Allow per-session cookies to Enable.
   
6. Save changes by clicking Ok in each dialog and go to one of the configuration pages again.
Enabling cookies in other browsers

• Cookies in Chrome
• Cookies in Safari
• Cookies in other browsers

I assume you want to enable Cookies in Internet Explorer (Different for Firefox, googlechrome, etc..).
Open the Internet Explorer, click "Tools", then "Internet Options" and on the Internet Options dialog box, click "Privacy" tab and then click "Advanced" (circled):



Now in the Advanced box, select the "Overwrite automatic cookie handling"


Again, select "Always allow session cookies" [note: by default, both the options should be set as "Accept"]


And then "Ok"
Again "Ok".

Now your internet explorer's cookies has been enabled.

Same problem in here!!!!!! If you get some Idea pls write it!!!!

Aol browser is just an interface on Internet explorer.
So to enable cookies you need to enable it from Internet explorer options.

click on start and then click on run
type in inetcpl.cpl
on the privacy tab you will have the option to accept cookies.
