2)Start using whole width of track for all corners, using very late apexes
3)Work up speed, and pull each apex back about 3 feet (0.9m) with each lap
4)Eventually, you will have to use entire width of track exiting corners. Now you're closer to car's cornering limits, so start moving apexes back in similar increments.
5)When you've worked up to speeds and apexes that force you to use entire track, you have found your basic approach for lapping track
6)Now work on certain corners
You can either contact Microsoft Xbox Suppot to ask for the installation disc or if you have a Forza 2 or PGR3 game disc you can use them as well. These game discs has a patch that will update the wireless racing wheel and should make it work.
Hi There, I had a similar problem with Forza 2 a while back the game loaded and I was mid race and the track would disappear and the car would be flying! Then the game would crash and ask for the disc to be cleaned. No matter what I did it always happend. There's a store near me that does "disc resurfacing" It cost me £3 and took less than 2 mins and the game runs fine only now doesn't get played due to Forza 3....Hope this helps
OK, at least for my issues, after talking to MS support ...
Here was the issue with the Setup disc (Forza Demo): If it jumps into the demo ... the XBOX DOES NOT need to be updated.
As for not connecting to the XBOX (Sync'ing up the controllers) ...
You need to press the SYNC (located by the memory card slots)Button BEFORE you PRESS the SYNC button on the wheel controller. Once you do that (a step that is not clearly pointed out in the stupid an poorly written manual) all worked asa expected. A Simple hook-up procedeure that took 2 days because of a step that was not pointed out or not made obvious to the XBox Parents and non users.
I had the same problem. No new games would play but the old games played fine. I clicked on the spinning disc icon (where the game should come up) and it prompted me to do an update. I accepted. Once the update was complete (took about a minute or 2) the new games worked fine.
