Question about Televison & Video
How can this be a generic problem? I had a flashing green light on a Phillips PTV it had a bad solder joint on one of the pins to an optic isolater.

Tips for a great answer:

Open the front panel by pushing on it. Pressing on the panel releases the lock and allows the front panel to pop open slightly. Pull the corner gently to open the panel completely.
Use a pointed object, such as the sharpened end of a pencil or the tip of a paper clip, to push the "System Reset" button.
Wait about one minute, or until the green LED light on the front panel display stops flashing.
Turn your television back on once the green LED light turns off.
this is procedure for most mitsubishi dlp.
