Please plug TV in another power source and turn it ON,
if still does not turn ON, unplug AC wire of TV, take off back cover and follow AC cord f TV that will take you in power supply board, find fuse nearby and check is it blew off? if yes, replace it with same ratings written on it.
Plug TV in AC wall socket and turn ON, if fuse blow again that means power supply section in TV got problem and need qualified tech to find out and replace components or power board.

I already tried unplugging and plugging back in. The power light does not come on or blink. PT-56WX53.
most of these Panasonic sets that do not come on the power light will blink in a sequence--3 blinks a pause and 3 blinks; Is yours blinking? you may have to unplug it for a minute and try to turn it on again to see the sequence--let me know and confirm exact model number so I may help you. SD TECH
