Question about Nintendo DS Lite Console

Connecting to external amp/speakers

Have read that DS can be hooked up to Marshall's MS2 or MS4 micro-amp/speakers. Using which socket and cables between the two though?

I'm almost positive it is where the headphones go.

Unit does not read game card

Blow in the NDSL card and the slot 1 (Avoid blowing with spittle).
If you use R4/Acekard/etc.:Look for dust/dirt in micro sd card. Clean it.
Not working? Probably the problem is slot 1 connector. Need to change it.

DS Lite top screen and mic not working properly. Good ole boyfriend tried to replace the casing and the mic on my nds lite, but apparantly, I'm the more technical talent of the two. The problem...

Hi - either the cable is not ALL the way in the connector ( double check) or the cabels damaged after install ( common) you need to repalce the entire screen on a ds lite as the cable is not detachable.
as for the mic - you will need some PCB rework on the motherboard to rectify that I'm afraid, contact us at if you need any more help :-)

Does anyone know how to set up an old nintendo game

I am assuming you mean a nintendo entertainment system (NES)
You Need:
The gray master console
At least 1 controller
Power supply
RF Switchbox (Must be an auto switchbox) or an A/V Cable with RCA ends

The power supply & RF switch plug into the back of the grey master unit. Hook the RF switch up to the cable connection on your TV. (If using the A/V cable - it plugs into the side of the master unit & into a video in - yellow plug/audio in - white plug) Plug in the power supply. Make sure a controller is plugged into the 1 outlet on the front. Make sure a game cartridge is inserted & locked in (You push it down). The TV needs to be on whatever channel the switch is set on if using the RF switch (Channel 3 or 4). Turn on the power & it should work

Nothing sees my R4DS card!

First you need to make sure you format your Micro-SD card in Windows to FAT32 format. Then load the latest software files onto your micro-sd card. You can get these from

Then in the root directory of the MicroSD card, make a folder called "Games" (without the ""s) and place your .nds backup files/ROMs in the Games folder.

Ds lite

To remove the top external casing first you have to separate the top part from the bottom part of the DS by dissasembling the bottom part and unplugging the top screen ribbon and the white and black wires, then slide these cables through the hinge hole to separate the parts.

Then you must take out the 4 screws under the cover pads in the screen side, and slide the screen side from the external side so the screen side should move like 5mm from the external side and then you would be able to separate both and see the screen, mic and speakers.

Unable to read DS micro SD card games

Have you installed Moonshell onto the micro-SD card? It has to be there to see the games. If you have Moonshell installed, you should be able to navigate to where you stored your files. Your adapter should have come with a CD with Moonshell on it or you can download a newer version on the internet.
