put in dregsdrawer and driptray to the machine and then power on the machine. The machine should do the selftest now.
When it finish the selftest put in the brewing unit again.

How would I adjust my carberators for a 1995 honda cbr 900 rr ?

if carbs are worn, have them profesionally cleaned (you can do it yourself by dipping a day in CHEM DIP carburetor cleaner, of course you will need to disasemble ALL the carb and there are a lot of very small o rings take note where are they located, usually under a small washer thats been pressed by a spring and a setscrew)
have new set of needle jets, and main jets (two numbers LEANER!!) Also buy an instrument that called a unisyn,
when reasembly try that all carbs open EXACTLY at same time, all air jets should be opened 1 1/2 turns from closed.
when starting, try to set a medium iddle, engine hot, use the unisyn, and try to sinch all the carbs the same.
lower iddle further, and turn iddle air screw one cyl at a time, 1/8 turn each time, opening or closing, you should hear engine changing tone (IS NOT INMEDIATE and takes up to 30 seconds to tell the difference) until satisfied with THAT CYLINDER, go to the next cyl... until you have all four, by then the iddle is possible to have risen slightly... lower it again and do the air screw procedure again but with 1/16 turn or less each cyl.
dont forget to clean the tank and tank strainer! 23d54551-c891-4d01-bf0d-dc5a0de190a2.jpg 9ebc7e15-3d3b-44e3-a406-4920cdacaba4.jpg

Some Tips for Recycling Plastic Bags

You would be shocked to know just how many plastic bags get thrown away every day. It's a huge source of damage to our environment and some basic easy steps to recycle used plastic bags could help you 'do your bit' for the planet.

  1. How about taking your bags back to the store that gave them to you. Many stores will take them and recycle them for you.
  2. Or you can take bags with you when you go shopping, especially if they are in good condition. Then there's no need to keep taking new bags.
  3. Another tip is to use old plastic bags as trash bags for smaller bins around the house. I use mine in the bathroom.
  4. How about giving your excess bags to a charity shop. They can then use them for packaging up goods that customers buy.
  5. Finally the best idea is to try and avoid taking bin bags in the first place. I always carry a couple of fold up, material shopping bags with me and then i can usually avoid the waste of asking for extra plastic bags.

Good Luck and thanks for caring about our planet.

Suddenly the monitor one output jack has no sound. If I turn the Monitor one slider all the way up I can hear a very low sound with distortion. The monitor output works fine.

Make sure the appropriate channel rotary knob MON1 knob is turned up for the channels you want into MON1. ALSO test other channels if they can be sent to MON1. The MON jacks are TRS with the tip as the hot and the sleeve as resistor to ground.

Hopefully you have used good practice and have ALWAYS powered whatever you are driving from the MON1 out from the same receptacle as the PMP5000. If not, ground bounce MAY have destroyed the driver in thee PMP5000. They USUALLY don't tell you these things in the user manuals, so it is up to us electricaal engineers to educate.

FIRST plug in a set of headphones and see if sound comes out (it will only be one side and fairly low volume, usually the left). If it does, then cabling and whatever amp you have for the MON1 has a problem. I have schematics and can help you troubleshoot a bit.

Also PLEASE read the tip I have posted on here about a grounding hazard of the A channel when using Speakon to 1/4 inch cables.

Engine will not idle, high idle ok. 1985 aries 2.2L

usually when a car wont iddle it may have a blown head gasket , remove oil filler cap on rocket or tappet cover check for creamy coloured oil , if so blown head gasket , also when morot is cool remove radiator cap and check fro brownish residue under cap if so blown head gasket .
remove each spark plug if one or more of them is white on tip of plug water is getting into cylinder ..

if none of these some carby's or throttle body's have iddle screww which can be adjusted to speed up iddle , or if throttle body it may have an iddle soleniod which may need to be replaced ,
i hope for you is is just and iddle issue , both the solenion and head gasket arnt cheap to fix.
the soliniod although easier to remove and replace its cost is usually .... expensive on most makes of cars , dont know why just because there greedy dealerships !

hope you need only to adjust carby or check timing is o.k

good luck hope this helps

How to make date etc appear on back of photos

The date usually only appears on the front. However, most retail photo labs (i.e. walmart) can add custom backprinting to your photos. You can usually only add one line of text for entire order and custom pricing would probably make this a little bit expensive. On that note, the date you have your film developed/printed is usually printed on the back of each print for free, as this is default setting for the lab's printer.

Headset problem

The cord is most likely broken at either end. I'd say time for a new one but if you want to repair it and can use a soldering iron get hold of a 3.5mm stereo jack, - cut the jack end off of your headphones, strip back about 15mm of insulation to expose 3 wires and solder them
TIP: White is usually left ( it goes to the pin that feeds the very tip of the plug
Red goes to the middle- Right channel
The shield or the copper braiding that wraps around the outside is common or ground and it goes to the longest pin which often has a clamp to relieve the strain.
I would try to fix the plug end first as the headset end can be more tricky. If you can work out which end of the cord is the problem by wiggling it then you know which end to tackle!

Hope this helps,
Good Luck

How to replace lightbulb

The screw(s) is/are usually a modified TORX T-20 or T-25 bit adapter. Sometimes you can very carefully use a standard T-20/25 bit adapter to get the screw loosened. Use a small flat blade screwdriver that has been modified with a slot cut into the center of the blade end to bypass the center pin. First find a narrow enough flat blade srewdriver that you don't care about and make sure it fits rather snugly inside the screw-head just for a loose fit. If the blade is a bit wider - no problem - it can be ground down to fit snugly. Next - using a dremel tool and diamond cutting wheel attachment (or similar) cut a slot into the end of the blade. Make sure that the screwdriver is going to bite the insides of that screw-head first though before wasting a perfectly good screwdriver. You will have to adjust by trial and error until you get the blade to fit perfectly the head of the safety screw. If the screws are really tight use a pair of vice grips to clamp the screwdriver blade for extra leverage.

Not enough compression to spray thompson water

Maybe just plugged. If it has the nozzle that can be rotated 180 degrees, roll it and try to spray. Sometimes a bit of debris gets in there and stops it up. If no on the rotatable nozzle, take the tip off and try to push liquid back to the container, or a waste bucket, to clear the line. You also may need to clean the tip. One last item.....since you sprayed water.....if you chased the water with the TWS, you may have made an emulsion. If so, remove the spray gun, and turn on the pump, pumping into a waste container, until the emulsion is displaced. Clean the gun. I'd say that if it'll spray water, TWS would be even easier.

Civic 95 lx 1.5 engine dies when iddling

Check the IACV, its located at the throttle body, facing the firewall. They get junked up with carbon. Just clean it up with carb cleaner and bleed out the air from the coolant.
