IPod Nanos are portable multimedia players that allow you to playback songs and other content (e.g. video) no matter where you go. Don't know how to download from computer library to ipod

Connect your iPod to your computer with the USB cable. Start up iTunes (if you don't have it you can download it for free from http://www.itunes.com.

Once you start up iTunes click on File -- Add to Library

Then select the music you want in your iTunes Library. Once it's loaded you'll see your iPod listed in the left pane and you will be able to drag and drop any song you want onto the iPod.

Or you can create a playlist in your iTunes library and drag the entire playlist to the iPod.

Click on your iPod in the left pane and you will see a page that will allow you to manually update music or let iTunes sync automatically. If you choose the automatic function and you have more music than will fit on your iPod then iTunes will pick random songs to fill it.

Got a new computer and tried to download songs on my ipod nano from my itunes account and somehow i deleted all my songs i already bought from itunes. how do i get them back?

If they are not showing on the itunes library page, they may still be on the computer...have a look under 'my documents' and 'music' see if there is a an itunes folder in there if there is open it and look for the itunes music folder. Hopefully if you just deleted them from your library and not your computer they will still be there.

Ipod Nano Sync

When you plugged the IPod into the new or cleaned computer, it was like plugging the iPod into a brand new computer with different specs. The formatting options may have changed, and when the iPod tried to adjust for this format difference, the DB or file system could have become corrupted. forutnately, Apple has ways to correct this problem.

To help you, I will need to know what OS you have? Windows XP? Windows Vista?

Of course, this is only one of many possibilities. I would start simple - do the 5 "R's" that Apple suggest in the manual:
Remember these five basic suggestions if you have a problem with your iPod nano. If
one of the following doesn’t help, read on for solutions to specific problems.
â Reset your iPod nano. See “General Suggestions,” below.
â Retry with a different USB port if you cannot see iPod nano in iTunes.
â Restart your computer and make sure you have the latest software updates
installed.
â Reinstall iPod and iTunes software from the latest versions on the web.
â Restore your iPod nano. See “Updating and Restoring iPod Software” on page 50.
After doing this, try to resync thos songs.

Good luck - let me know if you need more help!

You can download iTunes (iPod should have come with disc). Then you can purchase songs on itunes store and transfer them directly to your ipod. Or, if you have other MP3's, click on ADD FOLDER TO LIBRARY in itunes, find the folder where your songs are, then click on it. The songs should be in your library. Then just drag them onto your ipod.
