Question about Nokia 1100

Motorola pebble Hi there. The phone seems to be going wonky. Right now the only way to hear anybody is to have it on speakerphone. Also, it seems to "die" when the video camera is pressed.

Dave. Maybe your phone microphone isn't turning off. Try unpairing and re-pairing.

Pebble ringer inop

Does it have a speakerphone function, does that work? It would seem that the second speaker is malfunctioning. There is usually seperate speakers for the earpeice and for the rigner/speakerphone. You could open the phone and make sure the speaker is sitting correctly, it could have rotated off it's contacts. But you may have to replace the speaker, possible found on eBay.

When I make or receive calls using my Motorola DEFY, I can't hear the other person. I gather they can hear me ok, but I can't hear them unless I put them on speakerphone. This workaround is ok for...

Yes, it seems that some early batches of this phone are more prone to present this issue. It's a hardware problem. Some posts around the internet state that it might be caused by usage of the wired headset. Anyway, Motorola is aware of this problem, and they seem to be either fixing faulty phones or replacing them by new ones. So, you must send yours to be repaired, under warranty. Contact either the store or seller you bought your phone from, or Motorola, directly, for further details

Anyway, a possible workaround for this issue is to use the wired (original) or a bluetooth headset for phone calls.

Really hope you are able to have your phone fully funcioning pretty soon. This phone is pretty amazing!

Regards,
Carlos

When phone is answered I can;t hear the other person although they can hear me (help)

Try turning the speakerphone ON. If you can hear with speakerphone ON, then your earpiece is not working.

I replaced a cracked front screen and now you cant hear anybody unless you put it on speakerphone

Check that padding or other material did not shift over the speaker holes when you had it apart and is attenuating the sound.

Can't locate the speakerphone on my motorola razr

When you open the flip on the phone, it will be the upper small silver button above the volume buttons on the left side. Just press and hold until you hear a beep. It should only take 2 seconds.
