2000 gmc jimmy rear window wiper

RR washer works but wiper doesnt move - just makes a clicking noise. I have RR panel removed and everything is exposed. The clicking seems come from a black box that is in front of the motor. When I touch the black box I can feel it vibrate. The motor has no vibrations. Several electric connections do not separate when I pull on them and I dont want to break any.

2005 Tahoe rear windshield wiper inoperative in dash panel position 1or2

Rear Wiper/Washer System Components
The rear wiper/washer system consists of the following components:
• Rear wiper/washer switch
• Window wiper module-rear
• Window washer pump-rear
• RR WIPER 15A fuse
• RR WPRB 25A fuse
Rear Wiper/Washer System Operation
The rear wiper module controls rear wiper motor operation. Battery voltage supplied to the module is used to operate the wiper motor in all modes and to return the rear wiper arm to the park position after the ignition is turned off. Accessory voltage supplied to the rear wiper/washer switch is used to supply the rear window wiper and washer switch signal circuits. In wiper switch positions 1 and 2 the wiper switch signal circuit voltage level to the wiper motor module determines the wiper motor delay interval. The rear window washer pump supply voltage circuit is used to provide the operating voltage for the rear washer pump for as long as the rear washer switch is pressed. The rear window washer switch signal circuit is used as a wash signal to the rear wiper motor module to operate the wipers during the rear wash operation.

Did you replace the rear wiper module ?

Rear wiper and washer of BMW 5 E39 not working

I had the same problem. I thought it was an issue with a blown fuse, but also noticed that the rear wiper was very stiff.
I solved it by opening the rear window (so the wiper is not clicked into the motor) then squirt some WD40 into the wiper mechanism (I put the oil in from the outside). Gently move the wiper from side to side until it starts to free up - after a couple of movements the wiper should be moving freely again. No issues since.

At the same time, check that the washer jet is correctly angled. Mine was squirting directly into the wiper which may have caused it to rust up a bit.

Problems with the front and rear windshild wipers

If you remove the rectangular plastic cover off your windshield wiper motor, you will find a circuit board. Take it out and throw it away, and get a new one. I had to do that to mine this past winter. My buddy, after taking his truck to GM and giving them 300 bucks, got me to change his, and the problem was gone. The board is 20 or 30 dollars.

How do you gain access to rear wiper motor on a 1997 Jimmy As of now when motor is turned on, it makes a clicling sound and shaft does not move.

the wiper motor is connected to a actuating then to the wiper and one of the them has come undone. To remove pop back hatch look at outside edge for small screws if none are seen place large screwdriver between kick planel and metal and gentle pull and remove from vehicle exposing motor. If clip break you can get most from local parts stores later

Rear Wiper won't move on 1998 Jimmy

If you can wiggle the arm for at least 45 degrees or  in full motion meaning you have a problem mechanically, rear wiper has self locking when OFF and it shouldn't move. Open the inner panel and check the motor assembly for any abnormalities.
Good luck.
