Hi there the fault e90 is a common problem it means the main pcb and the display pcb are having problems communacating to repair this fault both pcb's have to be replaced and then the new one needs to be configured to your model of machine.

if i was you i would keep using the machine as long as you can put up with it, as this is a costly repair about £170

I have a w3840 miele washer fault code comes on drain fault check drain we remove filter clean put back together for a few more washes- light comes back on same fault take apart etc what more can i do

I had the same fault, and I fixed it in a rather strange way. There was a blockage in the drain tube cause by the stalk off an apple and lots of lint backed up against it.

Remove the drain hose from the back. Put a hosepipe down it, wrap a cloth around it and hold it together tightly as someone turns the hose on for 20 seconds. The machine will start to fill, so keep the door closed. Do it over a bucket. Turn the hose off, and then lower the hose into the bucket. Lots of lint will come out! Check the filter. Do the same thing with the hose again, check the filter again, this is when we found the apple stalk. Run the machine.

When the WP model WTW6600SW0 completes the wash cycle the clothes are still soaking wet. We have been running the clothes through another spin cycle, sometimes a second spin cycle to try to get the water...

You need to access your fault codes...pick any button but start or cancel and do the diagnostic test.
Press and hold for 4 seconds/release for 4 seconds and repeat this sequence till all the lights come on.
Press that same button to toggle thru the 5 most recent faults.
Post the fault codes back to me here.

My washing machine wont turn on, it is plugged into an extension lead which also supplies the power for my dishwasher. the dishwasher works fine but the washing machine wont turn on at all, the lights...

It is nothing to do with the extension lead you are using, sounds more like a board problem to me, or another fault causing the lights to flash.

E20 fault display

Hello,
E20 is a fault either in the filter/pump or drain.
The water must be drained thru. the little hose by filter or get machine to back door and undo filter plug and drain onto back step its quicker. With filter out see if any blockages, shine torch up in filter hole turn to spin/drain and see if pump blade spins if not then get long screwdriver and turn blade to free if no joy pump has to come out to free, hopefully this will work and refit plug and check for leaks. Then try again.

Good luck.

check heater element first, thats a common fault on these machines, loose connection or open circuit, after that check the pump for same open circuit

the rotating of the timer knob indicates a fault, maybe even a setting fault, to try and reset set to off, turn off and back on again, till light flashes, then turn off again and start again

if you do not know how to test for open circuit then the job is not for you, sorry
