Question about Lexmark X1270 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Lexmark X1270 Printer
Has been working OK for months. I cannot print now. Power Light comes on the Printer.Have had Blue cable checked, replaced USB cable. Each time I send to Print comes up with the followinf communiction error:
Communication not available- The computer cannot communicate with the computer. Try:
Ensure printer is powered on
Discount/reconnect printer power cable
Disconnect & reconnect USB cable
Check firewall setting to ensure printer communication is not blocked
I may be a bit late with this but it worked for me. Uninstall your antivirus, remove any parental controls and disable your firewall. Then, reinstall the printer and download a 2008 version of your anti virus and re-enable your firewall. I haven't reactivated the parental controls just in case it all goes pear shaped.
