If your amp has rca jack inputs only you will need in-line filters to reduce the stock stereo speaker outputs down to less than 3 watts. If your amp has high power inputs you can use those. If your amp does not have a built-in crossover then you will need to install a low-pass crossover or filter before the amp so the only the bass comes thru or the sub woofer will have major distortion. Another problem is the amplifier needs a turn-on signal for the blue wire and most factory radios do not have one. That means you will have to tie that wire into the switched 12v wire from the vehicle so the amp comes on when the key is switched on. It can be done be done but I don't think you will be very impressed with the sub due to most factory stereos have a limited bass range. Most aftermarket head units have built-in crossovers and sub outputs. They also produce much better sound than the factory unit. So in other words yes you can.

Kenwood radio rca sub outs. How do I hook up a sub and will it work without an amp

You can't, unless it's a sub with a built-in amplifier. A subwoofer pre-amp output is meant to be connected to an amplifier, not directly to a subwoofer. You must have an amp to drive a sub.

Connecting an amplifier to the built-in front loader

You simply need a line level convertor.
It is tapped into the rear speaker(s) wire and converts the signal into a low-level RCA output your amplifier can use.
A good one will have a noise supression circuit built in.

Radio

I hope you used an adapter to plug into the factory wires .... and if all your connections are correct ... I would verify that you have a good ground (touch a wire from a good clean bare metal directly to the radio's metal case) .... and check fuses .... Radio and clock fuses .... certain expeditions have amplifiers and subwoofers built into them and may not be compatible with your radio .... need more info

I need a connector lead to be able to fit a jvc cd player into my ford fiesta and cant seem to find one anywhere!help!i only passed test 4 wks and want some music!!

Hello, if you do not have the lead that connects into the jvc radio you will need to go to a car radio shop but if you have that lead but not the one that connects to the car leads then you will need a ford to iso adaptor lead which you could also pick up at your local car radio shop or maplins
