Can't scan to gmail

I've got the same problem with our OCE cm3520 network printer. The excuse that OCE gave me was that the gmail IP doesn't stay the same and the printer will only take an absolute IP address. We've figured out a work around by scanning to a ftp folder. It adds more steps to the process, but at least we can scan again. As more and more people move to web mail, you'd think someone in the copier business would fix this issue. Does anyone know of a multifunction printer that does work via gmail?
