My camera is locking my memory card. I slide the lever on the memory card to unlocked, which is down, and when i insert it in the phone and push it down to lock it in, it pushes the 'lock' on the memory card back up to the locked position, resulting in the camera constantly saying the memory card is locked. This is a Exilim ex-z80 8.1 mp camera.
I have had a similar problem with flimsy lock tabs. I solved it by placing a small amount of scotch tape over the tab - starting near the connection pads, over the tab to the back edge of the card. There's usually not a whole lot of extra room in the slot, so insert carefully and remove portions of tape as needed.
Worst case scenario - if you never use the locking tab (I never do) you could place a small dab of super glue to hold it in place. Let it "set up" before reinserting - you don't want the tab to move an be held on the lock position.

- The tab may very well become repositioned as it is being inserted into the camera, and then repositioned again when it is removed. If the tab is loose, it will probably be nearly impossible to determine with any certainty how and when it is occurring, unless it is prevented from moving with tape or glue described above.

Good ideas, I'll try both. I wasn't sure if it might have been a problem with the camera causing it to push the lock up, but I'll try this first

When i take photos on my casio Ex-Z80, nine times out of ten, the pictures will appear purple, and will be a bad resolusion. The sun doesn't seem to affect it as it also happens inside and at night time, what's wrong?
