Try your monitor with another computer and check if you can adjust the resolution or not.

You may need to use some of the menu buttons on the TV\monitor itself in order to manually adjust this and prevent the auto adjust resolution from taking place. Additionally you may need to specify whether it's 16:9 or 4:3 resolution from within the picture settings.

Images on my screen have been overly enlarged to set it back to original

Close any open programs and close open documents.
  • 2 Right-click in a space on the desktop where there isn't an icon.
  • 3 Click on "Properties". The "Display Properties" window will open.
  • 4 Select "Settings".
  • 5 Locate the "Screen Resolution" box in the lower-left part of the screen.
  • 6 Click and hold your left-mouse button above the downward-pointing arrow in the "Screen Resolution" box. Move your mouse up and down the bar to adjust the screen resolution.
  • 7 Release the left-mouse button when you arrive at a satisfactory screen resolution.
  • 8 Click "OK" to set your screen resolution.
  • 9 Restart your computer to apply the settings.

Screen magnified.. right clicking nothing happening

Try using the start menu to open the control panel and select Adjust Screen Resolution. If adjust the resolution doesn't solve the problem or you can't access the control panel in any way you may have a more serious software problem at hand and should see a computer repair shop.

If you are getting a splash screen (COMPAQ) then video goes black, you can try this. Boot system in Enable VGA mode from the F8 menu and see if you get to the desktop. If you do, you can then go to display properties and adjust the resolution to the Optimal for the monitor.

Can't see items on bottom of screen

Use the adjustments on your monitor to scroll the screen display up a little bit. (Press enter to use the OSD, adjust the geometry or vertical position.)
If you're talking about the taskbar itself, on the other hand, and you are using xp, see here.
Then follow these instructions to scan your system for malware.

I cant see but half tge game on the screen. the other half is beyond the right side of the monitor. please help

In order to solve this problem you will need to adjust the games resolution in order to match your screen or vice versa. In order to do so in the game it should be under your video options menu. In order to adjust windows to match the game simply right click anywhere on the desktop click on personalize or properties, then click on appearance. From there you can adjust your screen size to match. simply slide the bar left or right depending on whether you want the screen to be smaller or larger and then click apply.
