Have new computer with vista home premium and it will not let me install my printer. It tells me I have the latest driver and there is a compatibility issue on the canon website. what canI do? Thanks so much

I have already tried that and did all the downloads and then spne over 3 hours onthe telephone with a service rep. My computer is not recognizing the usb port. it tells me that the usb has malfunctioned, I have tried three different usb cables and it still will not recognize it.

I have the same problem, in spite of the MP600 being "Vista Certified", downloading all the Vista drivers from the Canon site the printer will not install. Help form anyone PLEASE. Vista was preloaded on my new desktop and now I am wondering if I made a mistake by not buying a machine with XP.
I have a new Vista computer I've tried downloading a link from Canon & it doesn't work says corrupted file. What other help is there for this? Also, I've downloaded Mozilla Firefox, it shows up on my C drive & desktop, but I can't start it.
