Hitachi 42 in. rear projection. Problem-left half of screen has a red line(shadow) that is about qtr in to the right of the pictures at the left of screen, disappearing as you get to the center of screen. Magic button works until you get to the red, then you can see it trying to adjust but it wont finish. Help?

CONFIRM ACTUAL MODEL NUMBER OF THIS TV PLEASE--42v710 IS A 2004 MODEL which should not have a magic focus button.
