I have an LG Super Blu DVD connected to a Sony Multi Channel AV Rreceiver then on to a Panasonic LCD Projector using hdmi cables. I get great video but no sound, when I disconnect the hdmi cable from the Receiver to the Projector, the video is gone (of course) but the sound is perfect! I am sure it is me, what am I doing wrong?

Re: No Sound on LG Super Blu-Ray Disc & HD DVD
Its something wrong in the cables connection try to reconnect them! And make sure that the connection is perfect according to manual then try it. It should work nicely. Moreove HDMI has great sound + picture effect.

The exact same thing happens to me. It reads Blu-Rays, burns DVDs fine, but when I put in a blank Blu Ray disc to burn, it freezes. As soon as I open the tray, the computer continues as normal as though nothing happened. I can't find anything on what is going on.
Connect the AV output of the Sky box to the AV input of the Panasonic combo.Look at rear of the Combo and you will observe input and output RCA connections.Using RCA leads, hookup the Av output of the Panasonic to the audio/video input of the Sony tv. Power up Appliances, and you should be OK.
