Putting Music On Your PS31. Make a folder called MUSIC (capital letters), and place all of your MUSIC in there. (You are not required to make a MUSIC folder.)

2. Now connect your device(SD card,Memory Stick Duo).

3. Go to "MUSIC" find where it says "Audio CD", USB, PSP, Memory Stick etc. and press "Triangle" > "Import" or "Copy" if you don't see the files press "Triangle" > "Display all"

Doesn't show mp3 files on micro sd card

You have to drag and drop only the MP3 files into the music folder. If you have them organized and in folder by artist, drag only the MP3s into the card's Music folder.

Will not let me listen to music stored on sd card

Hi, how dit you format the SD card. It should be formatted as Fat32 before you store music on it. If the card does not showup in the browser there is an issue with the format. In some instances the card could be incompatible with the zumo. So format it first (Fat32), copy some mp3 files to it (id use 128 kbps mp3's to start off with) plug it in and see what happens. If nothing, try a different brand/size card. I use 4GB SDHC card made bij sandisk without issues.

Can see music on memory card

A few suggestions (Not in any particular order)

Format the SD card in the PC, Make sure the songs are in MP3 format, (In XP use windows audio converter to change if needed), make sure the MP3 files have a bit rate of 128 kbps or less. Make sure the phone is set to 'data connection' not 'memory
card connection' because the phone cant see the files, connect the SD memory card to the PC, use 'my computer' to view folders, you should have an 'audio folder' if your MP3's are contained in folders try removing each MP3 file from its folder and place directly into audio folder (cut & paste) delete the empty folders, you can organise any playlist's on the phone. If possible download WMP11 & Moto multimedia Plug-in, (makes loading a bit easier). Chris

It may be reading your player when your music is on your SD card. If you plug your MP3 into the computer it brakes up into 2 drives 1 for the MP3 and 1 for the SD card.on my computer my MP3 is drive G and my SD Card is drive H. Check it out and see if that could be it.
