Question about GE PSS26SHRSS Side by Side Refrigerator

CAnnot set REfregerator teperature going to 65 all the time

For some reason the refregerator's (GE profile side by sides) went to 65 and not able to set to 37 it is going to 65 even if I set..

You have a bad main control board -- $300 plus to fix it. the board is on the back of the unit. if you can get the part locally, it usually comes with instructions -- good luck.

My Ge side by side freezer was thawing now it


Might just be a freezer thermostat gone bad by sticking in an open position. If that's the case you will be out of control in temp settings. Hope this has helped!!BB

The fridge gets its cold air from the freezer through a vent(damper) between the freezer and fridge.The fan in the freezer blows air through it. There is a flap you adjust with the fridge temp. control. Make sure it's opening and closing when you adjust the fridge temp ..

I'm just a home owner, not an expert. Could be a frozen line. I think GE has had problems with this. I think they've retro-fitted their doors with better insulation that prevents the lines from freezing.

if your sure its not working ,you have to remove the cover in the freezer on the back wall and it requires a volt meter to make sure its not working.

Ge profile leaks from front of freezer


your drain will be plugged under the tray. there is a hose that runs to the drip tray. the back cover comes off you can then get at the hose
