Screen cracked, it still works but the screen in broken

Well if only the screen is cracked it is possible to only replace the screen but if the necessary part, in this case "the screen" , if it is not available in a store then your mechanic or you won't be able to replce the broken screen but rather change the whole device.

Crack+touch screen not working usually means broken digitizer, which means replacement screen. Usually cost prohibitive in something like the Memo series.

if your whole screen shows an image and the cracks are in front of it then its just a cracked digitiser
if you dont see the whole image and tyou see horizontal and vertical line or an image like spilled liquid then your Lcd is also cracked too

General ideas....
Make sure the battery is charged.
Go to the menu options and make sure the LCD is on, if there is an option to shut off the lcd.
The screen LCD may be broken or cracked.
One way to test for a cracked or broken screen is to put it in the sunlight with the power off. Slowly turn the phone from side to side and up and down looking at the screen. If it is broken or cracked you may see a difference in coloring of the surface under the glass or plastic cover.

If the phone works at all, and if you have a camera on it. take a picture, then down load it to your computer to view it. If the picture takes okay, then your lcd is either broken or cracked or disconnected within the phone, or some cable could be loose as well.
