Hello, Try troubleshooting:1) Does it have a password on your router?2) If so remove password and try connecting to it Some electronics cant work to connect to WiFi if its protected by a tough security such as WPA2-TKIP.
Hi, 1) tell us do ur pc is directly connected to your internet modem or its using wifi?? 2) Do your network card is installed properly and after connecting it to router is it getting any ip from router or not? 3) Do you know that it is reaching till your router?
I managed to figure it out. I had to clone the MAC address to get the router to connect to the Internet.
I still have another problem though, my laptop still won't connect to the router. I'm using Vista, is this a possible network adapter issue? My laptop is fine at connecting to other wireless networks round my friend's houses/libraries...
it should work even without using the cd based on my experience. just be sure your wifi in your laptop is on. it should let you know if the wifi light is turned on on your laptop.
Check if other PC use an encrypted Key. If WLAN is showing as secured you need Wireless Lan Key Please use same WLAN security protocol WEP or WPA Key or Passphrase.
Check the wireless settings of your router, ssid, channel and wireless security. Set thoe information on your laptop so that it will work wirelessly with the router.
