Can I blow my speakers if I turn it up too loud. I have a MU-TE-KI 560 watt radio

Hello,
Yes you can. If you have enough power and your speakers cannot handle it than you can blow them.
If you turn up the volume high enough to hear them start to distort, than its probably a good idea to stop there because if you go much further than yo can blow them. Another good thing to check it the power output of the amp and the power capacity of the speakers. This will give you an idea of what your system can handle.

Amp problem

measure the resistance on the speaker cables and see if they are shorted (less than 4 ohms) somewhere. Swap around the speakers and amp ouputs to isolate what is the cause.
