Question about Kirby G4 Bagged Upright Vacuum
I have had my kirby for about 13 years. I have lost my manual and can't remember how to change the attachments around to sweep and mop my kitchen floors. Could you please explain how to do this?
Turn the belt lifter to red arrows matching to sweep the kitchen floor. This stops the brushroll from turning and allows you to use straight suction. There is a hard floor pad available...see the link to my guide and you may find one for sale...
As for mopping...I just dump a small bit of soapy water on the floor and run my Kirby shampooer (with no solution in the tank) on the lowest setting to scrub, then I dry mop behind it to pick up the excess water. There really are no instructions in the manual for scrubbing linoleum, but I just improvised. It splashes a bit, but better than getting down on hands and knees.
