Not sure of your light indicator; check the manual. But fyi there should be a little water left in, so the rubber seal doesn't dry out. More than that, and could be clogged drain or bad solenoid, which tells it to open and drain. See: http://www.partselect.com/repair.aspx?appliance=dishwasher&part=water-wont-drain
