Question about Compaq Presario 5000 PC Desktop
I have the Compaq and do not know how to get it to recognize the 512MB memory I installed in 1out of 2 slots that exist. THe other slot has the existing 64MB memory stick in it. THe 512MB is a Kingston PC100 DIMM that I got today and I am adding this to be able to upgrade the OS to run the virus protection and then to install the updated printer.
Be sure that the memory u got is compatible in your presario 5352. I tell you that adding 512mb to current 64 mb maybe a problem. you should remove the 64mb and replace it by 512mb and be sure that the new memory is compatible. want more information about your presario go to www.hp.com then search "compaq presario 5352"
