Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3
Razr is about 4 months old. one day it made a few chirping sounds and shut off. Now it will power up but wont stay for more than 30 seconds or so. Makes a few chirps and shuts down. I know its not the battery as i have a spare razr and the battery works fine in it. I took the memory chip out and tried it that way with the same results. I think a few drops of water from a leaking cieling landed on it but nothing much. No red dot. Any ideas? Thanks!
If you have access to the Motorola Phone Tools software, I would update your phone through it first to make sure you have the most up to date firmware.
The next part may be tricky with the limited amount of time before the phone turns off, but I would try to reset the phone through the settings menu. Make sure you backup your data before doing this, as it will wipe the data from your phone.
This can often be caused by a bad SIM card as well. Most phone carriers will replace your SIM for free. Maybe try popping in a buddies SIM card and see if the results change.
