They were on a surge portected power bar as well and only the speakers on the bar had no power after the outtag. Get your system to a repair shop! Note that the problem is in the PB9 jack at the back of the subwoofer and don't try to wiggle anything yourself - they're great speakers, don't do anything you'll regret.

SOURCE: I cant turn on my Logitech Z2300 speakers

These don't usually have a fuse. Let go through a few troubleshooting steps. Unplug from you computer and plug into an mp3 player or anything that uses the same size plug.
*If they work
Then it is in your computer. Plug some headphones in the output (normally the green plug) and test that. Go to control panel>sounds and audio devices and make sure your volume is at least half way up and not muted. If that is ok, check your hardware. right click on "My computer" the select properties, hardware tab then device manager button and see if there is a yellow exclamation on your sound device. If there is reinstall the driver.

*If they didn't work on another device (like a walkman) then it is probabbly your speakers.
unplug and wait for a few minutes then replug. Ensure any lights are on, on the unit. If they don't come on then the unit is probabbly been damaged by a power surge or lightning. They aren't user fixable usually. Return or replace.

SOURCE: Logitech Z-10 speakers stopped working, no power

My symptoms were that the speakers stopped working all of a sudden. Display showed power but gave no access to volume adjustment and did not play sounds.

I read a vague comment by another poster and it worked!
They said to unplug it from the power plug and leave it overnight before replugging it in...... at first I dismissed this, and tried everything else to no resolution. I was ready to return the speakers but decided to unplug it and see... Bingo********! in the morning

Why isn't my Logitech Z-5300 speaker system no longer turning on at all?

I have a suggestion that you can try. If the unit is no longer turning on and you're sure the electrical outlet is good (by plugging in another device) and the hand-held control panel is on, as well as the switch at the base of the subwoofer, then try replacing the fuse. The subwoofer on this model has a fuse near where the power cord enters the subwoofer. There is a slotted screwdriver slot on the fuse cover. Using a flat-head screwdriver (or your thumbnail), turn the cover about a 1/4 to a 1/2 a turn and the fuse should pop out. Keep the cover. Replace the fuse with a 4 amp, 125V (or higher) fuse that is a slow-blow fuse. There are fast blow (or fast acting) and slow blow (or slow acting) fuses. You can't replace one for the other. You should be able to find a fuse at Radio Shack. If a new fuse doesn't get your system working again, then something else is broken. Good luck.

We connected our z 5300 speaker to a new computer. and get no. sound. Is there a driver that needs to be installed. the last computer no longer works.

Did you open your speaker ICON and check to see that you don't have the audio muted? I have seen a lot of customers complain that their NEW speakers don't work but they have their audio set to mute.

Logitech Z-5300 subwoofer from computer to i-pod problem...

The best thing to do is to contact the manufacturers. From this i understood that your speaker system is new. You surely have the manufacturer's guarantee. So its better to contact them than to get it repaired or replaced for free. Sir please do not try to open the sub as it will void the guarantee policy.

Hope your subs come into play as soon as possible.......
All the best...

No power in my logitech Z5300 speaker system

Since power is involved, usually there is a busted capacitor in main circuit board or a open resistor which makes your remote fail. Try to see a technician to look at it.

Logitech Z-10 speakers stopped working, no power

I experienced the same problem, where the symptom was initially that the volume setting was misbehaving in that you would press the to increase the volume and it would go to the maximum, and likewise press the down button and it would go to the minimum volume.  Then the screen appeared incomplete and finally it did not power on when pressing the power button.  The solution I found was to unplug the power (overnight in my case) to allow any power to drain from the unit and transformers, and then plug it back in.  It powered on afterward.

Z-5300 blown fuse

When fuses blow theres a problem, now how it blows help you find out where the problem is, If the fuse flashes and turns black the second you turn it on or plug it in there is a massive short in the power supply, If it blows but is clear the surge was not a dead short but a overload, Either way best to run it down to the shop and get it looked at

Logitech x 230 speakers "dead"

Razor Your correct, you will have to open it up however which may void a warranty depending on how long you have had it. It is possible the converter went bad, this happens in these. If this is the case Logitech is really good on replacement and price{ if you even have to pay} The link below is a test link you can try and also a Logitech forum with Logy employees that are really good with help and support. http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/logitech_en_amr.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=2913&p_created=1125714076 Hope this helps.
