Problem for Whirlpool GD2SHGX Refrigerator

Chemical smell inside our refrigerator making all our food smell

The smell started out faint and then got stronger after about a week. The smell is hard to describe. It is definitely something I've smelled before, but I can't make an association. The problem started after we changed the water filter on our refrigerator.

This could be a freon leak and probably has nothing to do with the changing of the filter. I recommend that you have a service tech come out and perform a service check on it to make sure there is not a problem. I hope this solves your problem.
