There is probaly a grain of sand under-neath it. go to google and search for how to replace the batry for your ipod, then when you open it, have a look around the behind where the menu button is.

My ipod appears to show a blank screen and I can't play anything!!! I also feel like a sort of vibration when It is plugged in!

Try a hard reset. Hold the play and menu button down for about 30 seconds and the ipod should restart. If this does not work, plug your ipod in. Go to Itunes. Click on the ipod tab on the left, at the bottom there should be a bottom that says restore to factory settings. Try pressing this button. If these do not work, take it into your local apple store. They should be able to provide the help your looking for.
Thanks :)

How to get my language back to english

Select your language.
If you have an iPod nano or Fifth Generation iPod (iPod with video):
  1. Scroll down to the last menu option but don't select it.
  2. Scroll up one menu item. This should be Settings.
  3. Press the Center (Select) button. This takes you to the Settings menu.
  4. Scroll down to the last menu option but don't select it; in English, this is the "Reset All Settings" option.
  5. Scroll up to the third menu item from the bottom one. This should be Language.
  6. Press the Center button to select Language.
  7. Select your preferred language from the list.
If you have an older iPod with color display (including iPod photo)
  1. Scroll to the fourth menu item in the screen and press the Center (Select) button. This takes you to the Settings menu.
  2. Scroll down to the last menu option but don't select it; in English, this is the "Reset All Settings" option.
  3. Scroll up to the third menu item from the bottom one. This should be Language.
  4. Press the Center button to select Language.
  5. Select your preferred language from the list.
If your iPod has a monochrome display (black and white):
  1. Scroll to the third menu item in the screen and press the Center (Select) button.
If the instructions above don't enable you to change the language on your iPod, try using the "Reset All Settings" option at the bottom of the Settings menu. If the Reset All Settings option does not work, you can restore your iPod back to factory condition and reselect the display language.

My nano ipod locked up by itself. i have no idea on how to unlock it

Hello kabob4life,

Make sure that the hold button isn't on. If it is you will see a lock icon on the display. If you do see this icon, just move the hold button to the off position.

If this doesn't work you can reset the unit by turning it off and then holding down Menu and the center clickwheel button for approximately 10 seconds. The iPod will power up and reset. If this doesn't work try charging the iPod and then resetting it again.

Hope this helps.

IPod nano black mp3 won't turn on

Try charging it using an A/C wall adapter. Sometimes the USB does not have enough power for a very dead ipod.

Screen not working on ipod Need Help

this sounds like you have left the ipod in a hot car or in the sun too long, if so there is not a true fix for this problem. You can always take it in for a fix at an apple store.
