Canon pixma mx892 front door flap broke - was printing but now I get lots of clicking noises and then a message telling me to power off. The rear paper tray does work but lots of clicking.

What's the error message? Did it give you an error number?

My first thought: That printer detects if the front door is fully open, and if it's not, it gives you an error message and makes you turn it off and on. So look at the hinges where the door was connected and see if you can see the switch that tells the printer whether the door is open. Then figure out how to move that switch to the "open" position.

I hate that front door.

Paper is inserted properly but error message keeps saying "Load paper face down in Main tray"

i think the printer has 2 trays, one down and the other one on top from where you insert the paper. load the paper there as well. if there is only one tray then check the paper sensor in the bottom, if the paper end sensor comes out of position then it will not detect the paper.

Paper loading tips:
● Load paper with the side to be printed facing down.
● You can print photos and documents on a wide variety of paper sizes, from
8 x 13 cm (3 x 5 inch) up to 22 x 61 cm (8.5 x 24 inch). The 10 x 15 cm

the tray grips) and slide out the paper-width and paper-length guides to make
room for the paper. After loading paper, adjust the guides to fit close to the edges
of the paper without bending the paper. When finished loading paper, push the

● Load only one type and size of paper at a time in the same tray.

Printer mechnical error

Resolving a blinking light When an error occurs, the power light will blink continuously and an error message will appear on the computer screen. Read the onscreen error message explaining the problem and follow its solution. If no error message appears, go to the Maintenance section in the Printer Assistant and click any of the four main buttons. This will prompt the software to check the status of the printer and the error message should then appear. The following table lists possible causes and what to do to correct the problem. Load paper error message when using legal paper. Paper tray is full and still get message. Loaded feeder tray and got clear paper jam. Yet letter size paper worked in the paper tray.

you have to program the paper size anytime you change the size of paper you use in a lot of panasonic machines. This is done through the
function" feature... go intofunction... general settings...scroll down to key operator mode...the code will be "00000000" (8- 0's) and it will be in one of the first screens up

Error message on 4050n printer "manually feed hp tough letter"

What error message is on the display?

To solve one common problem, try this: Take out the paper tray. Slide the blue fence at the back away from the paper (toward the back of the tray) then slide it back to the correct position for the size of the paper. Replace the paper tray and see if the error message still appears.

Olympus Camedia P-10

According to the Manual, when both the Access and Paper light go on simultaneously, there is a paper jam. Check to see if there is, also check to make sure the paper is loading from your tray correctly. You have the paper face down right?
Turn off the printer after you fix he jam or paper, and turn back on before you try to print again.
Hope this helps
