Acer Aspire 6935G doesn't play BluRay disk

when I put a bluRay disk the only option that shows is to open the disk to see contents despite the power dvd 9 that I have and other programms. also when I open the disk and try to play the video files (TS Files) with BS player it says that i should have the latest codecs but I have downloaded them already!
the funny thing is that I can play BluRay movies (avi mpeg4) that I have downloaded them from somewhere.
I would really appreciate it if you can help me please!
