So with this router it gives off 2 networks...the N and G. Both are available, but neither can be connected to....WTF?
Any ideas?
Please verify the security settings on the router and that it is configured for DHCP.
If the security settings are incorrect the workstation will not attach to the router. If DHCP is turned off on the router it will not assign any ip addresses.
Please post back if you have any further questions. I'll be happy to work with you.
It would depend on how many addresses dhcp is set to assign. It would be unlikely it is only set to assign 2 address, but nevertheless it is something to check.
I also suggest verifying the one non-working workstation is set to receive an IP address via dhcp and that they are not configured with a at static ip address.
So to verify I am understanding the problem correctly, you have a router giving off N and G signals. You have 3 workstations and 2 of them work fine. 1 of the workstations is will not connect.
Thank you for your reply. I look forward to hearing from you.

but its only not working on one comp....there are 3 hooked up to it. Wouldn't DHCP cause all 3 machines not to get and IP?
