Depending on what engine, you may have a bad ignition module. I would start with checking fuses. and then proceed from there to perhaps the ign. module.

i would check three parts , i have seen a weak ignition coil make this happen, change fuel filter and last possibly either fuel pump or fuel pump regulator
As with any no start issue, you will need to find out if you are dealing with a no spark or no fuel problem to proceed. Once you find that out you can either let us know or research it online.
Sounds like a weal fuel pump.Check your fuel pressure it should be 48-55 psi with key on and engine off.If its not not within these specs replace fuel pump.
My brother had a similar problem when he started the car to move it ten yards from his drive to the main road. When he went to put it back a few hours later it would not start but the engine was turning over.
He called Green Flag assistance and when the recovery mechanic arrived he told my brother that he had flodded the plugs by running the car for such a short time. He also advised that the car should run or idle for at least five minutes as this is common.
