Fan motor is slowing down and not keeping the desired temperature

The circuit diagram for the standard control model shows the blower has a two-speed motor, connected directly to the power line in "Cool" mode, or connected to the temperature control in "Cook" mode. When the blower slows down during cooking, switch it temporarily to "Cool" mode. If it goes to normal speed, the problem is with the mode switch contacts or the wiring terminals between the fan mode switch and the temperature control board, or the control board itself.

If the speed does not change, check the wiring terminals at the speed switch common terminal (I assume your problem occurs in both low and high speeds). If you find tarnished, loose, or burned terminals, clean, repair or replace as needed. (In extreme cases, a loose terminal will cause the wire to overheat, damaging the insulation, oxidizing the terminal and causing a high-resistance condition that will reduce the voltage available to the motor.) If the connections are all good, the motor bearings are probably getting sticky at high temperatures. Let the oven get hot enough for the blower to slow down, then shut it off and check the blower bearings while wearing oven mitts.

I have a Thermador Model C302U wall oven the fan on the uppper oven starts and then stops and I get the F34 code I am thinking to replace the motor but I want to know if there are other things I should...

When that fan starts up the air pushes against an air switch and that tells the board the fan is blowing. The stove uses a DAC system that relies on switchs to confirm the operations of the fan. the DAC control uses signal voltage to detect switch function. The air switches must physically close by air movement from the cooling blowers before the oven proceeds into a bake or broil mode. Reason being f the cooling motor does not function and the oven goes into a bake or broil mode, the oven will overheat and could damage the fancy smancy over engineered piece of garbage electronic components. My opinion. This is not for the DIY unless you are a TV repairman.

Seems like the blower motor is making a lot of grinding noise and the fan is not spinning quickly. also the fan continues to spin when the door is open.

the blower wheel has come loose from it's base, this happens a lot with ovens where aluminium foil is used, as the Moffat oven was designed to be the ultimate pastry oven, free flow air system was designed into it, I would start with the blower wheel as it is usually the cheaper of the 2 to buy.

Middleby Marshall 360 pizza conveyor oven is making clanking noise by circular fan grate in back bottom left of oven. Please help

Is it the rear of the oven or the left side?
  • Rear of the oven, it is a obstructed or malfunctioning axial fan. Replacement cost $10-$20 - 30 minutes labor
  • Left side of oven, possible main blower fan malfunctioning. Depending on type of motor "S" or "Q". It might be the mount or a bearing wearing out. Replacement motor $200-$400, motor shop rebuild instead $150. Squirrel cage will need to be removed if damaged $100-$300. Labor 2 hours, if you know what you are doing, 4 to 6 if this is your first time. Check your heat slinger also. This might have come loose.
Call me for parts or further info. I have been here before.......

Can i change the Lincoln 1000 Main Blower Motor my self if i get the right parts?

Yes, if you are a bit handy man and you have the following tools,

1.Set of rachet set
2.A couple of scrow drivers and pliers
3. A blow torch to heat the core of the fan blade.
4. A pully remover.
Herr is a question
Why do you need to change the main blower?
is it noisy and you need to change the bearing?
is the motor burnet out? this case is one out of 100 case.
let me know.
Thanks

Philips whirlpool oven the oven is heating but not well. There is a blower but the fan does not move. The display in fromt appears to be working and the grill works. Had two engineers out one said fan...

If the fan is in the center at the rear of the oven where the element is, and the element is working o/k, then I would say that there is no doubt about it being the fan motor that is faulty.
The fan and element come on together as they are both fed together.

My turbochef tornado gives an error messag of

this is simple to fix but usually costly sorry to say.

F1 blower means the motor is not running when commanded.

first check the motor and verify if it spins freely - if the motor does not spin freeely remove the obstruction or replace the blower part# NGC-1025
just to clarify its the big blower behind the cook chamber not the little fan in the electrical compartment.

Jen-air convection oven blower Model # WW2750

From the inside you will find the fan. This will have 1 set screw or 2 set screws on the inside of the shaft housing. If you can remove the fan the motor will be on the backside of the oven mounted outside the cooking box.
