Question about ASUS K8V-MX Motherboard
We have around 140 computers, all identical (same motherboard) on site, all of which (should) be working fine. There is one, however, which will not produce any audio from either the on-board port or the front panel connector. All the workstations are installed remotely with the same image - sound works on other but not this one. Its enabled in the bios, its enabled and volume is up full in windows, possibly a faulty board?
Hey put in a pci sound card, but first uninstall the old drivers. then if it works, uninstall it and put in the Asus audio driver again, sometimes directX audio codecs get locked and I hope this works or just leave the card in, but will will mess up your remote install capability for audio you said all computers are the same and you did a network install on all ?
