Neptune MAH3000 Stops

I just installed a Waxmotor Kit in our MAH3000AWW without success. Installed the Waxmotor and the Q6Transistor. The R-11 Resistor was not cooked it was exact same resistance value as replacement resistor. Here's the scenario: Our Neptune will start when set to a normal cycle and begins filling and about 30 seconds or so later it quits and the on light goes out. If you move the Timer to Spin and push start the light comes on and the door lock light and locks. The water begins pumping out. It seems to run the pump until all water is out then the machine stops and lights go out. It does this on all cycles and at all settings. Will not spin when timer moved to spin cycle. Do I need to replace the MCU or ???? I believe the Timer is fine. I am capable or troubleshooting.....just not sure where to go next. Thanks, GARY

Re: Neptune MAH3000 Stops

You probably need the motor conversion kit 12002039. This Neptune motor / motor control board has a high failure rate. To determine this you need to remove the front cover and inspect the motor control board near the floor on right side for burnt components or a blown 10 amp fuse. If you have burnt components or a blown fuse then your motor control board has failed and needs to be replaced. See for Neptune disassembly pictures and to order the 12002039 motor conversion kit.

Hello, The earlier Maytag Neptune front loaders have a balance ring on the inner tub that has liquid in it and that causes the sloshing sound when you turn the tub by hand. That is normal.

I noticed that you have a MAH3000... Have you replaced your door latch wax motor yet? If not, it will fail and damage your control board located behind the timer. See NeptuneHelpSong for a video that explains the failure.

I hope this helps...

Hi just got a set neptune model mah3000aww the

your main control board and the actual lock,
open the three screws on the top of the control board..
you will see the machine control
without disconnnecting the wires , inspect the board as closely as uou can your looking for physical burn on the board,,,, this usually takes place on the lower left area of the board
there you will see a burnt resistor, r-11
you will need to replace that control

the board is 138.00
you will also need to replace the wax motor lock above the door

but is sounds like you just bought them
do you have a wrrenty of sdome kind
if you wish to make the repai let me know i will walk you through it it prety easy but can be tricky

Sometimes there is water that fills in my washer after I use it. It does not happen right away but by the next day. I don't know the model but I do know this is an old have had it for...

Q - My washer seems to keep filling  with water, the water keeps coming in the washer and going out the drain without the washermotor running.
A - This often is a drain hose that is too low or a drain hose that has been pushed too far down inside the stand pipe....the water is actually siphoning out of the washer. Do not "seal" the drain hose to the house plumbing pipe, this will also allow the water to be siphoned out.

sounds like a bad motor control board. It is located at the front rt bottom and will probably show a burnt spot in it or the fuse will be blown. You must replace motor kit.
